Friday Favorites | Summer Essentials

Happy Friday Friends! I hope y'all had a great 4th of July with Family and Friends! We sure did and it was a FAVORITE for sure but that means I took a ton of pictures and I need to sit down and edit them. I will recap our July 4th celebrations next week!

In just 3 short weeks, the kids and I will be attending OPEN HOUSE for BACK TO SCHOOL. (insert all the tears). We are so not ready for back to school. We 💙Summer and everything about it.

Today, I want to share some of our FAVORITE summer essentials. If your a long time reader, then you know we love being around any body of WATER!! Lake, Pool, Beach...we are not picky!!
I just know my kids were born with gills and I haven't found them yet!! 😉

Here are a few FAVORITES that we love to have while we swim, float, or relax!!

When we go out on the boat and just want to float. We love our Margaritaville Saddle floats. We leave them on the boat. But I would love to get these to take to the pool.

Here I am sitting on one of the Margaritaville floats in the lake. Floatin' is one of our FAVORITE things to do! Georgia heat can be pretty brutal.

The brutal Georgia heat makes you super hot and thirsty, so I always make sure I have plenty of water bottles in the cooler!!

I prefer a cute cup! I sell several in my Etsy Shop!! These stainless steel wine tumblers are perfect for sippin' by the pool, lake, or beach. Really they are perfect for anywhere! It is my FAVORITE cup for sure!

I made this one for one of my FAVORITE blogger friends, Johannah! It kept her 'rita cold all day while she was floatin' on the water!!

Sunscreen is not my kids most FAVORITE thing to apply while we are enjoying the water but it's a MUST!! I really love Sun Bum products.

I use these SPF chapsticks everytime I am out in the sun and they have worked GREAT!! The key lime flavor is my FAVORITE.

I love me a good beach towel. I want it to be super thick and long. In the picture above, you can see my beach towel from Pottery Barn. I have had it for 3 summers now and it has worked great, been washed a whole lot, and still looks new. Last year, Ben's company gave them beach towels to take on our President's Trip. They are awesome. Super thick and cover most of a beach chair.

Reading is one of my FAVORITE activities to do as I lay by the pool, beach, or lake!! I love my Kindle.

Both of my kids love swim goggles in the pool. Ella loves these type of goggles. Ian prefers the bigger type of goggles.

My kids do not play with toys anymore (at home or the pool) but they both love diving sticks and or rings! These are their FAVORITE!

What are some of your MUST HAVES by the pool, beach, or lake?? We have a fun lake weekend planned next weekend with one of our FAVORITE families!! Did I need something for that trip?? 😉
