I hope you will join us for Hello Monday and link up below!!
I normally recap our weekends but with my radio silence last week, I am going to share a little bit of life lately.
Last Saturday, my guys played golf while Ella and I hung around the house. Lazy Saturday's are my FAVORITE. Most of the morning looked like this...
When our boys got home, I sat on the couch with this guy...
Then we moved the party outside.
Oh Ian...
I am still loving my ADVdesign earrings.
and all the black and white. Does it make me lazy to take an OOTD picture sitting down?? #yes
Sunday we went to lunch and brunch. After brunch, I sent my 4 off to the golf course while my mother in law and I started moving all the things to get ready for my NEW FLOORS!!! Some of you may think I am crazy for sending away my help. BUT I didn't have to move any furniture, I just had to move all the knick-knacks, dishes, etc. I had my china cabinet along with a hutch in my kitchen FILLED with stuff. It was just easier to get them out of my hair and get it done with my mother in law who understands my love of "stuff" HA
Monday morning rolls around, I drop off the kids to school and the flooring guys are at the house at 8:30.
They didn't leave until 8:15 PM BUT my floors were FINISHED!! They look SO good. The rest of the week, I spent putting the house back together. It was a great time to really clean some stuff out and reorganize. I made 2 trips to Goodwill.
Tuesday afternoon, Trixie went with me to carpool to take a nap. The dogs were exhausted from Monday with people in and out of the house. Tuesday morning, the exterminator came. They were beside themselves with all the "visitors" HA
Tuesday evening, we went and watch our favorite softball player, Ms. Bailey Ann. Later that evening we meet The Smith's at Top Dawg for dinner.
Wednesday morning, the PTO cooked breakfast for the teachers. Ella and I had to be at the school at 7:15 to get everything started.
Wednesday afternoon, Ella started Safety Patrol. She takes her job very seriously.
Wednesday night snuggles with my favorite girls.
Friday morning, I went to Kirkland's to check out the new Rae Dunn Collection. I love my new towels.
Friday afternoon, Ella rode home from school with a friend while Ben and I took Ian and his buddy to the high school football game.
Saturday morning, my guys played golf while I took Ella to a friend's birthday party. Later that evening, we went to Chris and Kim's for pizza and Pictionary. We had so much fun and laughed so hard.
Sunday morning, we went to church and then met my family at Cracker Barrel to celebrate my mom's 63rd birthday.
After lunch, we went to the nursing home to visit my grandparents.
My mom and my aunt, Sherry.
Ella LOVES pushing maw-maw around in her wheelchair.
We sang "Happy Birthday" and all enjoyed cupcakes.
Hunter wasn't so sure about the grass touching his feet. HA
Sunday evening, we got everything ready for the week and practiced a little self-care.
