I hope you will grab our graphic and join us for Hello Monday!
Friday morning, I worked the Grandparent's Breakfast at Ella's school, attended the PTO Board meeting, ran to Publix, then it was home to decorate for FALL.
I plan to share a Fall Home Tour in the next few weeks. I still have a few finishing touches. But I did want to share my new pumpkin wine glasses well technically they are punch bowl glasses but in my opinion, they are perfect wine glasses!
Ian and Ella both had friends ride home with them from school. Ben took the boys to our local high school football game, while the girls stayed home. I ordered us pizza. Ella and her friend, Madelyn played and played while I worked in my planner and meal planned! #wildfridaynight
Saturday morning, Ben headed to the golf course for the second round of the Men's Club Championship. While I enjoyed coffee and Jesus. I made the kids muffins and cinnamon rolls for breakfast.
Ian and his friend, Dawson were having the girlfriends over to watch football for the day so they set up the whole back deck including popping up the tent and filling the Yeti with waters, powerades, and juice boxes. It was absolutely precious.
We got ready sporting our Georgia gear. #godawgs
Around 11:45, another one of Ella's friends, Brooklyn, came over to hang out. I just love their friendship. They are so sweet.
this is how Trixie felt with 7 kids running in and out of the house. She was EXHAUSTED.
Later that afternoon, Ian and Dawson's girlfriends, Addison and Bailee came over to watch the games. I told Addison that I love her but that orange is UGLY. #juststatingthefacts However, it was a great day of football because both of our teams WON!
This is how I watched the game. It was so hot but we wanted to be outside too. We did go in and out and watch the game.
The troops were all picked up by 10PM and my crew fell into bed.
Sunday morning, Ben headed back to the golf course for the final round of the Men's Club Championship. Ian went to play golf with Grandaddy and Chris.
I let Ella sleep in while I did...
my quiet time
watched our church service on FB Live
laundry
emptied the dishwasher
swept and mopped the floors
When she finally surfaced, went to Publix, then met the guys at the course to watch Ben come in and eat lunch. Ben didn't win the Men's Club Championship this year but there is always next year. He did win in 2011, though.
When we got home, we got the tent down on the back deck just in the nick of time before it started pouring down rain.
Since it was raining, a nap was a MUST.
After a short nap, I finished laundry, did some meal prepping for the week, wrote this blog post, worked on the PTO newsletter, and printed orders that came in over the weekend.
Then I did a little self-care and started a new book that arrived on my kindle. How did you spend your weekend?
