Monthly Goals | May 2019

New Month, New Goals!!



I'm not even sad that it's May because by the end of this month we will be on SUMMER BREAK and we are so excited. 
This month is PACKED with school activities, a wedding, mother's day, end of the school year, and Memorial Day but I'm feeling ambitious so without further ado here is what I HOPE to accomplish this month.

MAY 

Personal: 

1. Make CMA FEST gifts.
2. Have lunch with a friend.
3. Decorate in Red, White, and Blue.
4. Make essential oil rollers and labels.
5. Make list of house to-do's for over the summer break.
6. Continue going to the gym and figure out a summer schedule.
7. Complete meal planning class.
8. Plant an herb garden. 

Family: 

1. Attend my niece's wedding.
2. Celebrate Mother's Day.
3. End the school year with ease. 
4. Try a new recipe and share.
5. Enjoy a family day on the boat.
6. Honor Memorial Day.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Share summer bucket list.
2. Decide on summer schedule.
3. Plan summer content.
4. Pitch to 1-2 companies.
5. Work on email list.
6. Continuing sharing post on Pinterest. 
7. Share new recipe.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Make a wood sign from start to finish.
2. Make grad straws and list in shop.
3. Make America straws and list in shop. 
4. Make label for straw packaging. 
5. Work on email list. 
6. Continue sharing listings on Pinterest. 
7. Make Red, White, and Blue tumbler. 
8. Look up Fall Festivals. 

Before I share what I accomplished in April, I will just say April kicked my butt and I'm not sure why. Most days I felt like I ran around like a chicken with it's head chopped off.


APRIL 

Personal: 

1. Workout 3-4 times a week including Spring Break. YES! But I only worked out twice during spring break. 
?2. Maintain weight loss. I have no idea. I haven't been on a scale in over a month. I have NOT gone to WW meetings either and I canceled my membership. I am strictly going to rely on the knowledge of food that I have, how my body feels, and how my clothes fit. 
✔3. Put phone away during quiet time. YES- except at the end when I looked at it to know what part of the bible I was reading that day. I use the Bible Reading Plan app. 
✔4. Host Bridal Luncheon for my niece. YES and I plan to share pictures on Friday. It turned out wonderful. 
✔5. Enjoy a weekend away with Ben. YES. We really enjoyed Savannah. 

Family:

✔1. Celebrate Ben's 40th Birthday. YES! We enjoyed a couples trip to Savannah and we had a fiesta at the house! 
✔2. Celebrate Easter. YES! and it was wonderful. 
✔3. Enjoy Spring Break. YES and I plan to share tomorrow.  I know. I can't believe I'm posting on a Thursday either but I have a packed blog schedule. 😉
✘4. Start thinking about summer activities. NOPE! We just want summer to get here. 

Oh My Glitter:

✘1. Continue working on email list. NOPE. Didn't even open it. 
✔2. Work on getting my business licenses. YES and I hope to finalized this month. 
✘3. Work on summer items. NOPE. Didn't even try but I do have some ideas I hope to get made this month. 
✘4. Get tax stuff together for 1st quarter. NOPE. and I really need to do this so it's not so overwhelming at the end of the year. 

My Glittery Heart:

✘1. Blog Break. NOPE. I had originally thought I would take a break during spring break but I ended up posting. 
✘2. Continuing working on email list. NOPE. Again, I didn't even open it. 
✔3. Host Pin it/Spin it. YES and I am so excited about this link up. The next one is May 15th. 
✔4. Share a recipe. YES. I shared Apple Nachos.
