Friday was the first day of The Men's Club Championship at the club so Ben and Ian were up and off to the course fairly early. Ella went to Six Flags with a friend for the day so what was this mama to do...

At lunch Granddaddy sent me these pictures of my boys...
After lunch, I went to the pool ALL BY MYSELF. It was heavenly. I read my book, dozed on and off, and enjoyed a glass of wine.
Madelyn's mom sent me these pictures of the girls.
Ben and Ian ended up getting home around 4:00 and the rest of the evening looked like this...
Ella and Madelyn got to our house around 9. Madelyn spent the night with us.
Saturday morning, the guys went back to the course to play round 2 of the championship.

Saturday evening we went to a birthday party for Kade and the biggest kid of all lead the other kids in a game of wiffle ball and kickball.
Sunday morning, my guys headed back to the course for the final round of the tournament while I let Ella sleep in and I enjoyed my coffee and quiet time.
I did manage to work on a couple of blog post, laundry, letter boards, and I added this bucket of sideway chalk to our front porch.
Around 12:30, Ella and I got to the club to enjoy lunch and watch our boys come in.
Neither one of my guys won this year. Ben has won it before and this was Ian's first year playing!
After lunch, Ben went back out to play 18 for his match play and me, Ella, and Grammy rode to watch Ian, Chris, and Kim. I only stayed for 9 holes. Something got my allergies going and I was sneezing and coughing my head off.
About the time, I got home a HUGE storm was rolling in. It was pretty scary.
