We had the BEST weekend celebrating one of our FAVORITE people! I have known Talia since I was Ella's age. Today she turns the BIG 4-0! so we celebrated BIG this weekend.
Friday afternoon, I checked into our cottage for the evening and got everything decorated!
I picked her and her Stephanie up at work at 5PM! Y'alll she HAD NO IDEA!
This was her face when she saw me waiting on her and I told her we were off for a birthday celebration.
Her Stephanie went to her house on their lunch break to pack her over night bag!
We got to the cottage and had a drink in our cute wine glasses before the evening started.
Our other long time friend, Michael, met us for dinner at Paddy's Irish Pub at Chateau Elan.
Me and this girl talked a whole lot the past 3 months planning this party and I give us a HIGH FIVE! We pulled off a HUGE surprise!

Unfortunately, Michael had to leave after dinner but the 3 of us went into the winery for a wine tasting.
We laughed entirely too hard and made a whole lot of precious memories! After the tasting, we headed back to the cottage, opened a bottle of wine, and laughed until we cried or peed 😉😜😉😜
Saturday morning, we were up early to head to the spa for the day!
We each got Hot Stone Massages and they were AMAZING! We relaxed, enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, laid by the pool and ate lunch!
Yes, Yes we did walk to my car in our robes to get our bags to get ready! HA!
But in the meantime, I was getting updates on how this guy was playing in his golf tournament.
A bunch of Talia's friends and family were at the house waiting for us to arrive. I think her face says it ALL! SURPRISE!
My sweet mother in law, Talia's Mom, and Ryan along with Ella and her friend, Madelyn were busy cooking and decorating while we enjoyed the spa!
Georgia kicked off at 4 and we enjoyed a delicious fiesta!
We got home around 9 and I was asleep by 9:45. I was EXHAUSTED!
Sunday morning, Ben and Ian headed back to the golf course for round 2 of his tournament while Ella and I headed to church. After church, I let Ella pick where she wanted to have lunch...
She picked Longhorn's because wild west shrimp is her FAVORITE!
Later that afternoon, we went to my mom's house to see her because last week when she was out of town she fell and broke her wrist. They made it home from Michigan. They took their RV. Luckily, she has appointment this morning at 10am with the orthopedic doctor. Please keep her in your prayers.
Ella and I washed and dried her hair for her!

We did get to snuggle on my sister's sweet Missy girl. She is staying with my mom for a few days.
The rest of Sunday was spent doing laundry and making my to-do list for the week!
