Hey Hey Y'all! How was your weekend? You might have noticed that I didn't get a Friday Favorite post! Life got a little crazy last week and it just didn't happen! I am working on that! I think I will be better off getting my post started or written on the weekend or the beginning of the week! Sorry for rambling...
But let me recap last week and this weekend!!
Wednesday, January 18th-
Coffee, Jesus, Kids to school. Then I had an appointment for Derma Planing and College Induction therapy! I loved it!!
Here is the definition from their website.
Collagen Induction Therapy-
Also called CIT or Micro-needling, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that addresses a variety of skin concerns. Using a small handheld device with sterile needles, tiny perforations are made in the skin to induce a wound healing response. The body responds to this “trauma” by boosting your natural production of collagen and elastin- vital elements of young healthy skin. As the healing occurs, it improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, hyper pigmentation, and uneven skin texture. Most patients notice an immediate glow to the skin and within 3 weeks can see an improvement in the skin’s texture. CIT continues to improve the skin’s texture and appearance up to a year following treatment.
It didn't hurt as bad as it looks like...
That evening, Ian went to Kathryn's, Ella had campaigners so I picked up CFA for dinner. The kids got home and we crashed.
Thursday, January 19th-
Coffee, Jesus, I took Ella to school. Then it was home to do a few things before going to Ian's first college visit.
I'm not sure how we got here because I am pretty sure this was him a few years ago....
It was a great visit to Piedmont University.
We met the golf coach, had lunch with a few guys on the golf team, toured the campus, met with admissions, met with the assistant dean of the business school, met with financial aid, and rode the golf course! It was a really beautiful campus and course. We have 3 more visits lined up and then he will make a final decision.
We made it home and I cooked spaghetti for dinner, cleaned the kitchen, laundry, and then I curled up on the couch while I waited for Ian to get home and then went to bed.
Friday, January 20th-
Coffee, Jesus, Kids to school, Then I rode the Peloton. I got ready and headed to the Mall. I needed a few things for mine and Ben's upcoming trip. I met Ben for lunch and then all the errands. Picked up Ella from school, worked on this post, and then it was dinner and Conyer's basketball game. It was a great day!
Saturday, January 21st-
Coffee and Jesus. Ben went to play in a golf tournament and Ian went to play golf with Chris. I took Ella to a birthday party and ran to Publix.
When I got home, I ate lunch, laundry, worked on my blogging calendar, started a few post, set my calendar up for the week, started my packing list, (Ben and I leave on Thursday morning)
Then it was DATE NIGHT...
We went to Houndstooth Grill and Tavern with Keith and Dixie to listen to Brandon.
Sunday, January 22nd-
We slept in and then I did all the things to get ready for another busy week. Chili for dinner, showers, and an early bedtime!
Cheers to a new week!
