Our Week with Coming Home from the Beach, Celebrating 4th of July, and A Pool Day.

Hey Y'all! Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week! I am recapping July 1st-July 7th! It was a great holiday week for us!

Monday, July 1st-

We woke up at the beach. Ella really wanted to rent mopads in PCB so that's what we did!!

I sure hope when I am my mom's age (69 next month) that I am able to chase my great grandboys on the beach one day and ride mopads with my 16 year old granddaughter the next!!

We did a lot of our riding in St. Andrew's State Park because it felt a little bit safer!

But we did ride our scooters to Schooner's. 😉

We parked in the Harley Parking!

Where my sweet girl paid for our lunch with her very own paycheck. I love her heart!

Look at this condo turned sideways from the hurricane. Crazy!

That night we offered to keep the boys so Eric and Candace could have a date night but only Hunter would stay with us!! He loved all the attention.

We got dinner at the condo so we could all chill and play in the pool.

Mom and I shared this strawberry daiquiri in a pineapple. I do not recommend. It melted way to fast and was leaking everywhere.

After Eric and Candace picked up Hunter, we all went up to the room to shower and pack up what we could for the night.

Tuesday, July 2nd-

We enjoyed a slow morning and then me, Ella, and Grandma Deb were on the road by 11am (our time) to head home. We finally got home around 7PM due to 85 shutting down for an accident. What is normally a 6 hour trip took us 8 hours. but we made it home safe and sound so that is all that matters.

Wednesday, July 3rd-

Coffee and Jesus. Ben to the office, Ella went to babysit, I went to workout and walk with Keri. Ian and Kathryn went to Lanier Islands where they ran into their 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Hawk.

I restarted Sweet Magnolias AGAIN while I cleaned and put everything up from all my errands.

I feel you Trixie.

Love these sweet girls.

Thursday, July 4th- Happy Independence Day.

Coffee and Jesus. Boys to the Course, Ella to the lake, and I walked with Keri.

I love these girls.

I chilled at home and got ready to grill burgers and hotdogs with Leigh Anne and Bailey. They left shortly after dinner and then I got ready to hold Duke through all the fireworks.

Fireworks finally stopped around 11pm and we were able to get some sleep.

Friday, July 5th-

We slept in, Ben went to Waffle House, I enjoyed my coffee and quiet time, Ian eventually woke up, and Ella made it home from the lake, so we headed to Pappadeaux's for lunch, then Bass Pro to look at sunglasses, and eventually to the Mall of GA for some shopping. Once we got home, Ella went to fireworks in Winder and Ian and Kathryn went next door to enjoy their fireworks. I curled up on the couch again with Duke.

Trixie saw her daddy on the front porch finishing his cigar.

Little Cat from next door enjoying our back deck. She is just the best!

Duke curled up next to me to endure another night of fireworks.

Saturday, July 6th-

We were up early and heading to Sky Valley for my gang to play golf. I just rode with them.

When we got home, We went to a low country boil at The Smith's. It was so good and great to visit with friends.

Sunday, July 7th-

Coffee and Jesus for me, Boys to the course, Ella got home and then we went to the pool with Daniel. We wanted to see him before his next heart surgery. (July 10th). We love this boys so much.

We got home from the pool, chilled, and ordered El Real for dinner before getting ready and crashing.
