Our Week with Cooking for the X Team, Ella's HoCo, and Top Golf with Coach.

Hey Y'all! Happy Monday! I hope y'all had a great one! We sure did and it was a busy one. I am recapping that and last week.

Monday, November 4th-

It was a digital day for Ella. Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and then I went to workout at 8am. Keri and I were hoping to walk but it was misting so we skipped it. I ran to the grocery store to pick up stuff to pick up stuff to make spaghetti for the X team. (that is what Ella and her group of friends call themselves)
I cleaned up the house, did laundry, and started cooking.

They started arriving at the house around 6 but I had to leave around 6:15 for an FFA meeting.

I made them fresh Italian bread from the Food Nanny's Kamut cookbook.

They tore it up!

They left for YL around 6:50, when I got home from my meeting I cleaned up the kitchen, and fell onto the couch with my kindle and wine waiting for the girls to get home because they were spending the night since they were out of school on Tuesday for Election.

Once they got home, I crashed.

Tuesday, November 5th-

Ben to the office, girls slept in, coffee and Jesus for me, and then I went to walk 2 miles with Keri. I opened packages, did a clean sweep of the house after 3 girls spent the night, typed out some blog posts, and got the small tree up in our bedroom.

Later that day, Ella went to Addison's scrimmage basketball game and Ben had to go to Atlanta for a copier issue. I could barely keep my eyes open around 6:15 so I took a shower and climbed into bed. Ella got around 7:30. I dosed on and off until Ben called around 9pm that he was on his way home, finally. I woke up around 10:45 to Ben and Ella sitting on the couch watching the election results. I had Fox news on in our room. Ben finally came to bed around 11:15, him and I dosed and watched. We watched Trumps acceptance speech and then turned off the tv.

Wednesday, November 6th-

Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, I went to workout at 8am. When I got home, Keri and I walked 2 miles. Then I got ready and met Leigh Anne for lunch at The Bistro. I ran a few errands before heading home.

I got home and worked on another blog post. Everyone got home, I made catalina chicken for dinner, cleaned up, chilled, and crashed.

Thursday, November 7th-

Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, and then I went to workout at 8am. Stoped by Publix to get the ingredients to make dog food. Got home and started that. I read for a little bit before doing a few house chores. I cleaned Ian's bathroom and the downstairs hallway. I was really tired for some reason. I think it was the weather.

I got ready and Ben picked Ella and I up at 6:15 to go to dinner at Friends. We got home, I put up the dog food, started the coffee for the next morning, and crashed.

But I did enjoy a midmorning coffee in my super cute mug.

We also got an email from the school that The Rock and his network reserved our local theatre for all students and staff for an advanced showing of his new movie Red One for a night this week. We are so excited.

and this girl was featured on the school's social media page.

Friday, November 8th-

Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, and then y'all I was LAZY. I barely moved all day. I read a lot. I finished 3 books this week. Ian came home from college and picked up Chipotle for lunch and Kathryn came over.

I did manage to get the Christmas bar cart finished. Kathryn's niece and nephew came over to play, visit, and eat pizza for dinner. It was fun having littles at the house for the evening. Ian, Kathryn, and Ella took them home and I waited for them to get home before I crashed.

Saturday, November 9th-

Ben and Ian headed to the course, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella got up and cleaned up her room before going to visit Addison and heading to her 11:30 hair appointment. I ran to Target and then home to finalize Top Golf, make chili, and start watching the GA game before we left to head to Legend's for homecoming pictures. After pictures, we went to Sarazen's for dinner and the girls headed to the dance.

We finished watching the game at Sarazen's and that was a rough loss. I waited up for the girls to stop by the house to get their bags before heading to spend the night at another girls house. Then I crashed.

Sunday, November 10th-

Ben left to play in a tournament and coffee and Jesus for me. Ian and Kathryn slept in and I started a new book. I enjoyed a super slow morning. I finally got moving around 9:15 with cleaning up the kitchen, vacuuming and mopping. started laundry, set up my planner for the week, and typed this blog post. I got ready and then Ella and I headed to Top Golf with the golf team. Ben met us there after his golf tournament and Ian headed back to college.

If y'all remember that Ella's high school had a school shooting on September 4. 4 were killed and 9 were injured. Ella's golf coach being on of the ones injured. Coach really wanted to get together as a team (girls and boys) for a fun gathering so we planned an afternoon at Top Golf.

It's amazing to me that just a little over 2 months ago, Coach was shot in the hip and ankle and he is already walking with just a cane.

After Top Golf, Ben and I headed to the Young Life banquet. It was a great event. We got home, got ready for a new week and crashed around 9:30.
