Our Week with Annual Wine Tasting/Ornament Exchange, Ian's 20th Birthday and a Trip to NYC.

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I am recapping last week and this past weekend. I just love this time of year!

Monday, December 2nd-

Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, and then I got busy doing all the things. laundry, blog post, clean out my closet, grocery list, head count for Wine tasting night, cleaned Ella's fish tanks.

I had a rough evening but everything is ok now and I know it will work itself out but sometimes that is hard.

Tuesday, December 3rd-

Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, I went to work out and walk 2 miles with Keri. When I got done with my walk, I showered, and used my red light therapy on my hip.

Later that afternoon, when Ben got home we went to Firehouse subs for dinner and then to Addison's basketball game.

We got home and I waited up for Ella to get home from going out to eat after the game.

Wednesday, December 4th-

Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, and then I went to workout from 8-9. When I got home, I used RLT on my knee. I did eventually get ready and head to Aldi to get everything I needed for my Wine Tasting and Ornament Exchange.

I blogged, did some computer work, and added the watercolor painting of Ben and I from Bailey's wedding to my gallery wall in my craft room.

After dinner of veggie soup, everyone went their separate ways and I curled up on the couch to watch the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Tree!

I loved it because I knew I was going to see it in person 3 nights later.

I crashed as soon as the tree was lit.

Thursday, December 5th- Ian's 20th Birthday.

Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, Ella to school, and then Ian slowly woke up and I sung Happy Birthday to him.

Ian ran to Publix for me and checked his sister out of school. Then he grilled us steaks for lunch. I cleaned house and did laundry.

I got ready and LA came over early to help me put together 11 individual charcuterie boards for my annual wine tasting and ornament exchange night!!  Click the link for all the details.

After everyone left, I cleaned up and then crashed.

Friday, December 6th-

Ben to the office, I slept in, got Ella off to school, and then went to workout and walk. I got ready, grabbed CFA for lunch before my 12pm nail appointment. I stopped by Target and Publix after my appointment. I got home put up my stuff and started Chicken Tortilla soup in the crockpot.

I packed for NYC. Typed my blog post for Monday and forgot to schedule it! HA Once Ella got home at 10:30, I crashed because my alarm was set for 5am.

Saturday, December 7th-

We were up and leaving the house by 6:40 to head to the airport. We got through security and found a restaurant for breakfast and a drink.

We were boarding our flight by 9:50. Our plane took off right at 10:30. I tried to read but couldn't get into my book so I started watching The Family Stone. I got a little over halfway through the movie when we landed in NYC. We landed around 12:30, got to the hotel around 2pm. It took us forever to get to the hotel with all of the traffic. We went 9 miles if that tells you anything. We stayed at the Pestana CR7 in Times Square.

Our room wasn't ready when we got there but Rory's room was ready so we all put our stuff in her room. Then headed to District Tap House for food and to watch the GA game.

After the game was over, we went to Bond 45 for dinner and look at this mozzarella cheese stick.

Bond 45 has a unisex restroom and it's the weirdest thing EVER. Turtle and I had just gone to the restroom so while we were leaving the rest of them went and Brittany snapped this selfie of them.  Washing your hands by some random man is WEIRD.

Walking to the Rockefeller Center Tree and we passed Radio City.

LOOK Y'ALL...

Walking back to the hotel through Times Square.

We got back to the hotel late and all crashed.

Sunday, December 8th-

We met in the hotel lobby at 10:30 and a van picked us up at 11am to head to Metlife Stadium for the Giants/Saints game.

We were in the Sharp Suite.

These two crack me up.

After the game, we headed to the airport in NJ.

I get car sick so I had to ride up front in the van with the driver! HA. I was a nervous wreck with the driving in NY and NJ. Heck I'm a nervous wreck in Atlanta traffic.

We got through security and found a bar. We got a few appetizers to share and a few drinks before we boarded the plane at 8:20.

We took off right at 9 and landed in Atlanta around 11:30. We pulled into our driveway at 12:45 and I crawled into bed a little after 1am.

Fun 33 hours in NYC. We were exhausted but it was so worth it.
