Our Week with Area Tournament, FFA State Convention, and Cleaning.

Hey Y'all! Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is off to a great start. I am recapping last week and weekend.

Monday, April 21st-

Ian to work. Coffee and Jesus for me and then we got ready and we headed about an hour and a half west to Ella's Area Golf Tournament. We left our house at 6:30AM. Ella's tee time was 11:34. Ben will always get to the course early to get a cart, warm up, eat breakfast, etc. He can't stand to be rushed.

Well tee times were backed up about an hour so it was closed to 12:30 before Ella teed off.

These 3 girls scores sent them to sectionals to hopefully make it to STATE!

We waited for our last player came in. Loaded up and then headed to Texas Road house for dinner. Y'all it was about a 6 hour round of golf so by the time we were ordering dinner. IT WAS 9PM. We finally got home at 11pm. EXHAUSTED!

Tuesday, April 22nd-

Ian to Work, Ben to the Office, Ella to School, Coffee and Jesus for me. I dropped the pups off at the groomers at 9am. I came home and got busy doing things around the house and then went to pick up the dogs at 12 from the groomers. I always get the craziest angle of Duke in pictures after his appointment.

The rest of the day was a whirlwind of doing all the things. Kathryn and Walker came over after work and school. Ella packed for FFA state convention. I made tacos for dinner. Cleaned up and then all hell broke loose. I will just say that Ella and Walker broke up but it's not my story to tell here on the blog.

I finally got Ella settled and we went to sleep.

Wednesday, April 23rd-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me. Ella up, ready, and last minute packing. I dropped her off at 9am to head to FFA State Convention in Macon. But look who was already on their first nap of the day by 9:30.

I worked out at 10am, got home, and did a few things around the house.

Look who was begging for her daddy's dinner! HA She wanted his taco salad.

I cleaned up, showered, chilled, and then crashed.

Thursday, April 24th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and then I went to workout at 8am. I got home and got busy....

Decorated the Bar Cart

Cleaned out the Red Cabinet in my Kitchen

Cleaned out the Pantry

Cleaned out the food storage cabinet

and took a NAP!

Look who joined me on said nap...

We were both missing sis.

Ben called that he was on his way home and I started dinner. I made a cajun chicken pasta. I cleaned up the kitchen, started the dishwasher, and chilled.

Friday, April 25th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and Coffee and Jesus for me. I enjoyed a slow morning of reading and then got busy again with laundry, cleaning out more cabinets, cleaned my bedroom and bathroom, and finally cleaning up the craft room.

I did pop on the Livestream of the State Convention and saw this girl receive her STATE DEGREE.

Trixie was excited that I sat at the computer for a little bit.

Ben got home and then me, Ben, Ian, and Kathryn went to Chili's for dinner. Once we got home, we all got comfy and chilled before falling into bed.

Saturday, April 26th-

Boys headed to the course and I curled up in my chair for Coffee and Jesus. Then I got busy cleaning Ella's bathroom and bedroom. Then I cleaned out my closet.

Look who was great motivation! HA

Look who else I got to see walk on stage again!

I got ready, ran to Publix to grab stuff for dinner before going to pick up Ella. We got home, unloaded, and then I started cooking dinner.

After dinner, these 3 played basketball. I poured a glass of wine and watched.

Once everyone was in and settled, I finished doing a few things for the evening and you guessed it, curled up on the couch before finally falling asleep around 11pm. I just couldn't fall asleep.

Sunday, April 27th-

Ben went to play in a USAM tournament. I enjoyed my Coffee and Jesus time, Ian and Kathryn went to visit her grandparents, and Ella slept in. I decided to watch church online.

After church, I got busy emptying the dishwasher, setting up my planner for the week, blog calendar, and blog post.

Ella woke up around 11:30 and by 12:30 she said she didn't feel good at all. We did end up doordashing El Real for a late lunch. By 3:30, Ella temp was 99.7. UGH. plus she was coughing.

Ian and Kathryn got home and chilled. and let's not mention that I was also still in my pjs! HA Later that afternoon, Ella's temp went up to 101.7. I got her some medicine and we all just chilled. I went to bed early because I had a feeling it was going to be a long night. Spoiler Alert. It was... a long night!
