Our Week with Back to School, Floral Competition, HomeComing, and Wedding Weekend.

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday!  I hope your week is off to a great start.  I am recapping September 23rd - September 29th.

Monday, September 23rd-

Coffee and Jesus for me and Ben and Ella landed at the Atlanta airport right at 8am. I got ready and headed to pick her up from Ben's office while Ben went to work. We stopped by and got her CFA for breakfast. Once we got home, we had a few minutes before we headed to her school for an Open House for the kids to return back to school the next day. That was 11-12. I ran to Publix and Ella went to lunch with friends.

I worked on a blog post, water my plants on the front porch, and did laundry.

Ella went to Young Life that evening and I made chopped salads for dinner.

Tuesday, September 24th-

Coffee and Jesus for me, Ben to the office, Ella to her dual enrollment classes and then to Apalachee until 12:40. Right now, they are only going 1/2 days. I walked with Keri. I got ready and when Ella got home, we headed to Banks County High School for her floral competition.

After her competition, we went to eat dinner at Italy. It was so GOOD! We got home and all pretty much crashed.

Trixie had been ready for bed all day. I did eventually make my bed before I left.

Wednesday, September 25th-

Coffee and Jesus for me, Ben to the office, Ella slept in because she didn't have to be to school until 10 something. I went to workout, showered, and then went to get a spray tan at 12pm. Got home and chilled while I "processed"

Hurricane Helene had started moving into our area and the rain was coming down so Ben drove Ella to her spray tan appointment at 5.

They got home and we heated up leftovers from Italy from the previous night. We chilled for the rest of the evening.

Thursday, September 26th-

Coffee and Jesus for me, Ben to the office, Ella to her dual enrollment classes (which she ended up dropping them) and then to Apalachee. I went to workout from 10-11, nail appointment at 11:30, home to get ready, and then head to the church to help set up for Bailey and Matt's rehearsal and lunch. Later that evening,  we went to the venue for Bailey to drop stuff off and for LA to ask last minute questions. They also got a little practice in....

Love these friends that are more like family. We went to eat at Your Pie in the rain before heading home and taking shelter.

Friday, September 27th- School was closed due to the hurricane.

Coffee and Jesus for me, Ben worked from home, and Ella slept in. We had pedicure appointments at 1 with Bailey and Leigh Anne. Ben and Ian headed to Dillards to get his suit for the wedding. When I got home, I tracked my shoes and they were in Kansas City. Not going to make it before the wedding on Sunday. Luckily Ben was still in Dillards and he picked me out these cute hot pink shoes for the wedding.

All the wedding talk, sent me down the rabbit hole of all of our wedding stuff and I found our favors.

Friday night, Ella hung out with friends, Ian and Kathryn went to get Crumbl while Ben and I chilled on the back deck with the pups.

Then Ian painted Kathryn's toe nails because she can't handle getting a pedicure! HA

Saturday, September 28th-

Coffee and Jesus for me, Ben chilled before him and Ian went to get their trucks washed and Ian's hair cut. They met us girls at the church for the rehearsal and lunch. I will share pictures on a separate post of just Bailey's wedding.

Later Ella got ready for Homecoming....

We got home, warmed up mexican, and watched the game. We will not talk about the ending score. Ben was in disbelief for most of the game.

Jud and Stephanie left after the game, I finished cleaning up, and made sure Ella was safe and sound at Ft. Yargo with the rest of the bridal party.

I finally crashed around 12:30 and my alarm was set for 6 am.

Sunday, September 29th- Bailey and Matt's Wedding Day.

I will say these are just a few pictures I snapped of the day. Bailey's wedding will get it's own post once pictures are back.

I showered, packed, poured coffee to go and Ben dropped me off to Leigh Anne at 7:10. By 7:23, I was saving a turtle in the middle of the road.... I got him safely to the side of the road.

By 8am, we were pulling into the wedding venue and hair and make up started quickly after that.

The wedding started at 4pm so around 3:15 we snapped pictures.

After the ceremony, these 2 were sharing hoco secrets. HA

Ella and Brett being introduced. Ella acted like a fisherman and "reeled" Brett in!

By the end of the night, these 4 were solving all the worlds problems! HA Just missing Matt now.

My kids left a little early because Ella was exhausted and had school at 8 the next morning. But Ben and I stayed till the end to help clean up and pack cars. We pulled out with Rob and LA.

This is the amount of bobby pins that I got out of my hair on the drive home.

Ben showered while I started coffee for the next morning and then I showered and CRASHED.

It was a great day!! I can't wait to have an entire post for Bailey's wedding.
